He was  a GP in PJ and had a clinic at  Jalan SS2/66. He had leukaemia? and passed away more than 10 years ago?

He hailed from Alor Star, Kedah.

His family had a shop called Huat Kim Boat  Builders, Alor Star.

I do not have a photo of him.

LEE CHOO CHOON

Choo Choon,

We did not expect your demise and early departure.

You were so joyful and caring.

They found grass growing on the roof top of Block B but we knew others planted it.

You had a seizure on 02-04-73.

Very sad

So ‘cruelly’.

They found you lying on the floor.

Your floor mates said that you were frothing.

DSC07671DSC07668You  had a burst aneurysm.

Well, we all did not know.

Maybe you were not aware as well otherwise we would have known.

Even you did not graduate but you were evey bit of a doctor in our eyes.

We missed YOU

RIP

Hello world!

We are the graduation class of 1973 some 36 years ago.

The Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya, Pantai Valley, KL was the centre of excellence for studying medicine.

The first batch was admitted in 1963. We were the fifth batch. The class of 1968/73.

Some of us were admitted earlier in 1967 as the premedical class. Those admitted in 1968 were super freshies. Two Vice Chancelloers came from the 1967 premedical class: Annuar Zaini (UM)  at first Dean of the facultyand later became Vice Chancellor of University of Malaya. Whilst Sharifah Hapsah became VC UKM. She is the first lady Tan Sri of our class. There are quite a number of Datuks or Datos’ though. Will have to count the exact numbers. Who’s who in our class will be revealed ASAP.

We came from all over the country : Sarawakians included. Sabahans nil.

Who’s Who will appear later when  an inventory is done.
